(Re)calling and (Re)telling uses maps,
drawings, found documents, and family  
photographs to reconstruct narratives.  The
images, influenced by both family
mythologies and personal experience, are
combined to construct open narratives
addressing aspects of African/American
history and experience through memory
and storytelling.
